How to play Rally

Race across five Pokémon-type routes. Correct answers move your trainer toward the finish. Your rival moves while the clock runs.

Challenge: Type an unused Pokémon matching the type or first letter shown. All 1,025 Pokémon species are in the list. Pokémon typing matches PokéRally's official types.

Momentum: Correct answers in a row move you farther. A wrong or duplicate answer breaks your streak, adds 3 seconds and boosts the rival.

Checkpoints: Switch routes at each checkpoint. After checkpoints 2 and 4 choose between the safe path or a shortcut. A shortcut requires a Pokémon matching the current route type and starting with M. It adds 180m when successful, but failure costs 7 seconds and a rival boost.

Pause & Save: Pause freezes the race. Save progress to this device and resume from the start menu. Best winning times are kept separately for each difficulty.

Rally does not yet award account XP, Pokédex progress, achievements or ranked points. Online Rally will require server-side support first.
