PokeRally privacy policy

Last updated: 6 October 2026

PokeRally is a browser game at the PokeRally website. The game operator can be contacted at thijs021999@gmail.com for privacy questions and account-data requests.

Account information

When you create an account, Supabase handles authentication and stores your account identifier and email address. If you sign in with Google, Google provides basic identity information, which may include your name and profile image, to Supabase. PokeRally asks you to choose a separate trainer name. The game does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, or your contacts.

For email and password login, your password is sent to Supabase for authentication. PokeRally does not put your password in its saved game data.

Game progress

For signed-in players, the game stores trainer names, Pokédex and ShinyDex collections and play counts, best score, XP, selected avatar and title, achievement data when available, preferences, and a resumable game including player names, scores, turns, played Pokémon, battle log, and current input. This lets you restore progress and continue on another device. Trainer names are checked for uniqueness.

Storage on your device

The game uses browser local storage for guest progress, account-save backups, preferences, and authentication sessions. Some multiplayer features also use session storage and communication between browser tabs. Clearing site data removes local copies and can sign you out; it does not delete your cloud account.

Why we use this information

Information is used to sign you in, maintain your account, check unique trainer names, save and restore progress, and respond to support or privacy requests. PokeRally's game code does not include advertising or analytics trackers and does not sell account information.

Services involved

Netlify hosts the website. Supabase provides authentication and cloud storage. Google handles Google sign-in when you choose it. The game loads the Supabase software library from jsDelivr and may request replacement Pokémon sprites from external sprite providers if a local asset fails to load. These services receive the network information needed to deliver their services, such as your IP address and browser details, and may maintain operational logs under their own policies.

See the privacy information for Netlify, Supabase, and Google. Provider processing locations and safeguards depend on their service arrangements.

Retention and your choices

Cloud account and progress data are retained while your account remains active; this version does not automatically delete inactive accounts. You can play as a guest, sign out, or clear your browser's site data. Contact the operator to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account and saved progress. Requests may require verification that you own the account. Service-provider backups and operational logs can have separate retention periods.

Changes

This page will be updated when the game's handling of personal information changes. The update date appears at the top.
